Flowers in another form

Dulcis: A Garden in Motion brought The 8th Day Studio and Dulcis Studio together in a gallery setting. The exhibition explored flowers through sculptural forms, textured surfaces and the spaces around them. The campaign photographs collected here show how much the character of an arrangement can change when it leaves the table and becomes part of a room.

Colour with a physical presence

In one suspended composition, orange blooms sit against vivid blue and soft green fibres. The colours read as distinct volumes, each with its own surface and weight. Elsewhere, green spheres and a plant-covered chair hold a quieter palette. Viewed together, these scenes suggest two ways to make an impression: a sharp colour encounter, or a repeated material that changes the feeling of a familiar object.

Space is part of the composition

White cloud-like forms, blue accents and curtains give another scene its softness. The fabric frames the view, while the open areas let the suspended shapes remain distinct. Look beyond the individual flowers: the distance between objects, their height and the view through an opening all help the composition read. These images are as much a study of space as they are a record of floral work.

What to bring to a creative brief

If an exhibition image resonates, tell us which part you are responding to: its scale, palette, texture or sense of movement. For a launch or private event, the next step is to connect that feeling with the audience, venue and purpose. A reference becomes most useful when it helps define a new direction. Bring the details that resonate with you, and we can explore how to give them a place in your own occasion.
